Workshop Proposal:

Course Title:FINDING MR. GOODWRITE
Course Description:

It’s more than just misspellings! Grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure are YOUR TOOLS for translating your muse’s input into a successful fiction novel. The best ideas, the most heartfelt emotions are useless unless they can be presented to the reader in clear readable format. Misplaced and squinting (yes, squinting!) modifiers, dangling participles, and faulty parallelisms can skew your sentences and send readers scurrying away in confusion—and will have agents and editors passing on your manuscript because of “lack of professionalism.” Learn the much-needed mechanics of the craft from an award-winning author and former investigative journalist who honed her skills under daily deadlines and is now a top fiction author.
