Workshop Description:

Whether it’s the first rejection, the 50th-book slump, or just not getting the story you want, frustration is part of every writer’s life. For some, it’s a nuisance; for others, it’s the end of a career. So, for anyone determined to make 2021 a better writing year, this workshop offers both practical and psychological techniques for dealing with challenges including:

* Rejection (from an agent, reader, editor, reviewer, or anyone else)
* Discouragement (frequently accompanied by a lack of joy in writing)
* Writer’s block (when “butt-in-chair” resolutions no longer work)
* Exhaustion, boredom, fear of success, and more

After looking at the causes (and some surprising benefits) of these and other problems, writers will take home new awareness of what WORKS for them…and renewed inspiration for returning to the craft they love.
