Workshop Description:

Allies, Enemies, and Missed Opportunities

Understanding male and female archetypes opens a rich world of characters for you to mine. But knowing the male and female archetypes is only a beginning. Moving beyond a basic understanding blows open possibilities to create stronger, more three-dimensional and universal characters interacting with one another. (Taking either the 11 Male Archetype webinar here or the 8 Female Archetype webinar here is strongly recommended).

If you want to know more about:

  • What Archetypes are and why they should matter to writers
  • How to expand conflict and tension between Archetypes
  • Which Archetypes tend to work well together and why
  • How to grow and change an Archetypal figure for a series
  • The differences between Stereotypes and Archetypes.
