For 2021 (after our spectacular survival of 2020,) I’ve chosen to teach something new, broad, and powerful for a variety of creative people—Writers, Marketers, Artists, Quilters, Cooks, Musicians, and Problem Solvers.

The Creative Brilliance Academy is focused on bringing the mind to the burning brilliance your work deserves. By discovering new, inventive ways of seeing and thinking, creative people find themselves sparking with inspiration and driven by ideas they’d never envisioned before—especially in relation to currently stalled projects.

The Creative Brilliance Academy is available in two distinct workshops, Part One and Part Two. Each 4-week workshop is an eye-opening experience designed to spark the hidden brilliance inside you. These suggestions and techniques will push your writing and storytelling, as well as marketing skills, onto a new level.

Both Part One, and Part Two teach techniques strategically designed to draw you into expansive ideas and the development of your unique brilliance. Lessons are interactive and include challenges, prompts, and assignments. For twenty years, Deborah Riley-Magnus has taught people how to creatively think outside the box, helping artists, quilters, designers, cooks, bakers, and writers explore different and new ways of looking at their personal creative process. For authors, she has brought these concepts for marketing and craft, opening doors for author success.

Deborah is an author and an Author Success Coach with forty-plus years professional background in marketing, advertising, and public relations. She has been a writer for print, television, and radio. She writes fiction and nonfiction, and has been a ghostwriter for several clients. Her nonfiction—FINDING AUTHOR SUCCESS, CROSS MARKETING MAGIC FOR AUTHORS, WRITE BRAIN/LEFT BRAIN, and her AUTHOR MARKETING PLAYBOOKS — teach authors how to bridge the gap between the creative writer and the marketing author.

Deborah produces several pieces monthly for various websites and online publications. She teaches online and live workshops for advanced creativity exploration. She writes instructive and creative blogs, and coaches authors and artists, one-on-one, in search of their unique creative brilliance.

She belongs to several writing, speaking, and professional organizations. She has lived on both the east and west coast of the United States and has traveled the country widely. She is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and returned in 2011 after living in Los Angeles, California for several years.
