Workshop Description:
If you already know Kerry’s beginner class, or if you have some marketing and technology experience, this Advanced Tech class is for you. We’ll go deeper into website design and development, including adding services and features to make your author brand more professional. We’ll talk mailing lists, how to host your own giveaways, and go into more advanced ad creation, including discussions of which platforms work better in which situations (BookBub, Facebook, etc.). We’ll also discuss advanced tech such as link shortening/tracking, and social media schedulers (such as Hootsuite).
Course Format
This course will be delivered online, three lessons per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, for a total of four weeks (12 lessons). On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and the weekends, homework will be assigned, to practice the lessons learned on the previous class day. Homework is optional, but I encourage students to participate, and share your efforts with me, so I can give you feedback. The more you engage, the more I can help you!
