Creating Experiences to Inspire Your Writing

This course builds on that idea — we can turn our daily contemporary, everyday life adventures into more vibrant writing, too. Learning to look through a different lens, we can tune in to the sensual experiences in the coffee shop to fire up the sensuality of an encounter, or the contemplative action of spinning into a rhythm to present our heroine’s thoughts.

Just like photographers learn to see more beauty in everyday minutiae and grand vistas, we will learn to exercise our writers’ minds in new ways to see and write about our everyday hands-on experiences in way to infuse our writing with energy and verve and bubble.

Christa Bedwin grew up on a cattle ranch in the Canadian Rockies and has since travelled to several dozen countries. She has been a professional editor and writer online since 1999, working from wherever her laptop is. She recently graduated from solo parenting one well-mannered son who is off at university now, with a solid long-term romance of his own already!

Christa loves meeting locals and practicing languages as she travels with farm volunteering with the WWOOF organization. She also teaches yoga and writes romance, of course!
