|About the Workshop
||We talk a lot about sorting out characters, conflicts, plots, editing, and other topics that all writer have to deal with, but sometimes the toughest one is finding time to write when family, work, and friends keep pulling you away from that all important time before the keyboard.
In a single month, we’ll sort out what you wish to accomplish, what is keeping you from accomplishing it, how to decide between priorities, even how to retrain family and friends to give you writing time.
Let’s face it, when you’re single (be it because you haven’t found the right partner, lost the partner, or chose to never have a partner), it’s much easier to have time to do as you wish. Once there’s a partner involved, children, or caregiving for an elderly or ill parent, a big chunk of your “me” time vanishes.
So let’s sit down and do some dealing. We’ll be creating our own deck of cards, by the way, and do some sorting, decision making and scheduling so you do finally have at least more writing time than before to spin a tale or two.
