Course Description:
Most people assume once you’re published, the publisher is going to market and promote your book but the reality is most of the time you’re on your own. And should you decide to self-publish then you need to compete with the ever increasing numbers of books on platforms like Amazon.
This class will show you how to put a marketing and promotion plan into action even before your book is released.
We’ll cover all the tips and techniques you can use to get the word out about you and your stories
You’ll learn about creating your own web site, media kits, writing press releases, working with the media, if working with a publicist is right for you. If advertising is worth investing in, and how to arrange your own book tour.
You’ll work one on one with the instructor to put together your own marketing plan and each student will get a workbook and plenty of other files they can keep for future reference.
